Cohort lunch canceled

I'm trying to get word out that we are changing the cohort meeting from Tuesday, May 6 to a day TBA. There were some scheduling difficulties due to Administrative Assistant Day. Thanks Hallmark!

Next Meeting

Tuesday, May 6 at Fuddruckers at the Boardwalk, 12noon. This will be our last daytime meeting, as we will shift to an evening format in the summer.

First Meeting of 2008

We will meet at the Highland Center, 522 Olive St. in Shreveport, on Thursday, March 15, 11:45am. This is a day meeting due to the crazy challenge of scheduling another night meeting in March. Most of us have Holy Week and Easter preps as well as a myriad of other things going on, so this will hopefully be the best time.

What we will do:

• Hang out and catch up with each other
• Talk about what's emerging in our churches
• Get some info about the Highland Center and the many physical and spiritual needs met there each week
  
• Hear a report from those who attended Brian McLaren's Deep Shift conference last week in Dallas.
• Hear about Derek Joyce and Mark Sorensen's new book and the upcoming book signing at Barnes and Noble
• Make plans for our study of Everything Must Change by Brian McLaren. There are some great discussion questions at the end of each chapter

I'll have some box lunches for everyone who emails me. Cost: $5.
